Ingadi will do the initial setup with the client’s input after which we will continue with the day to day management.
This will entail a structured approach to the daily, weekly and monthly work schedules of the course maintenance staff. To do this successfully, we will assess technical data such as soil analysis and water samples which will provide information allowing us to apply a scientific approach to fertilizing, irrigation and all the other important cultural practices, ensuring the consistency of a world class course presentation. Ingadi can guarantee 80%+ condition of your Golf Course at all times, provided the irrigation system is fit for purpose.

The Team:
The face behind Ingadi, Carel van der Nest, with 13 years of experience, he comes from a background of being involved in the Honda Classic in Florida (USA) at the PGA National Golf Course, to New York (Glen Oaks Golf Course), Ballen Isles in Florida USA and back to South-Africa hosting the Telkom PGA at Country Club Johannesburg for 3 successful consecutive years in a row.
Over the years Carel became an achiever of many things, where the greatest of them all is when he build and formed Ingadi to the company it is today. This just shows that he is a man of passion for his job, knowledge to lead a team and project, to push through any situation that may be thrown his way, communication is rule one. He always strive to be the best therefore the service level will always be the best.

SERVICES
Maintenance:
- The golf course daily set up and presentation will be reviewed and improved using our experience in setting up courses.
- Fairway lines to be reviewed to ensure mowing lines are being followed and playing areas are maintained to standard.
- Basic maintenance (Housekeeping) done properly as and when required on the following – edging of the greens, raking bunkers, edging bunkers, sprinkler heads edged, cart paths cleaned, landscaped areas free of weeds and grass, drainage areas are managed.
- Review planted areas around the clubhouse and surrounding areas.
- Bunker sand quality will be reviewed and if a concern, will be investigated and a solution recommended.
- Tees, fairways, semi rough, rough and greens collar cutting heights to be determined and followed (with Client).
- Irrigation – coverage and maintenance of the irrigation system.

Health and Safety:
- Independent Consultant initially to help with setup of new site.
- Same Independent Consultant to do visits/reports every 3 months.
- All Health and Safety on site to be within the requirements of the OHS.
- All PPE will be supplied and kept functional.
Environmental:
- All organic material to be put back/used on site in one form or another (Compost or Woodchips).
- Building of a compost yard should the client agree to it and space is available.
- Designated areas to be identified for the dispose of Plastic, Glass, Paper.
Wetlands:
We specialize in the maintenance of natural wetlands, as well as removing alien vegetation where required.
Wetlands can also be built for specific areas at the client’s request.
We have access to a highly-qualified specialist who provides us with information on the right conservation procedures and will always be available for information.
Alien vegetation, plants and/or trees being removed, will be replaced with indigenous plants or trees.
Pumps:
Pumps and pump-houses will be maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.
In the event of any breakages, we do have a team that is always on standby.

Machinery:
- Qualified workshop Manager does weekly visits to sites, checks on all reports, status of machinery, does training with onsite mechanic etc.
- Evaluation of Course machinery – suggesting a recommended fleet.
- Source of quotes and procure machinery approved from preferred suppliers.
- Negotiate good prices on all course machinery & accessories on behalf of the Golf course/Club.
- Back up machinery is available at any given time, should it be required.
Golf Course staff:
- All staff will have branded uniforms and be made aware of the fact that they are working within a residential estate environment.
- All operators will receive full training on use and maintenance of equipment.
- Employment contracts are BCEA compliant with full job specification and comprehensive disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- The incorporation of any existing personnel into our program will be handled by way of a full assessment, recommendations of individuals and skills required to maintain the golf course to the best standard required.
- All estate access rules will be complied with.
Programs/Analysis/Reports:
- Review of current fertilizer program and water analysis.
- Recommended fertilizer program based on information from samples/analysis which gets done every 3 months.
- Our programs are based on the needs/requirements of all 14 elements/minerals in the plant.
- Monthly reports to be send to the Client.
- We believe that cultural practises are essential to maintain healthy turf conditions and frequent assessments are undertaken to insure this requirement.

Projects
Should the client give approval, Ingadi will provide the client with a list of projects which they feel could improve the look and feel of the course.
In the event that Ingadi does the maintenance of the course, these projects will be done at a cost price basis, which means that Ingadi will give the client a BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and the client can pay the supplier directly and Ingadi will do the Installation/Construction, should extra staff be required it will then be discussed with the client in advance.
